Goodwill (Always) Matters

18:00:00

A full month without any post. Pfiuh. Everything happened for reason, of course. It is not a simply procrastinating me, I assure you. I've been thinking over and over, until this point when I conclude and trying to wrap it all, try to write an explanation to myself. And you, dearest fellas.

Last month, several things happened. I met great people, learned many things new, got a new project, attended interesting events, tasted odd foods, portrayed beautiful pictures, been on every occasion who I could tell you here in a long and happily post. But I didn't.

Why?
I read an article in Gogirl! Magazine, March edition. The big theme of the edition was Save Our Society. The magazine thought there are phenomena where the youngsters could take a part for the merrier future. Within the articles, one is "The Grey Area". They discuss several things which will be taboo if we used religion perspective, but the fact shows that it happened a lot in our daily life. It's a part of the article entitled "materialistic". This part mentioned how nowadays technology could make us easily shifted into a subtle "materialistic" person because of our habitual sharing activities in social media. We take it easily to capture our newest dazzling pair of shoes, glamour restaurant we visited, envious long holiday, how far the distance we traveled from one airport to others, until our trendiest gadget is tagged in every sharing. This article somehow stabbed me right to the heart.

I did it all, I admitted. I have many account of social media where I could share everything I mentioned above. I blogged, I uploaded, I tagged, I checked in, I twitted, I pinned, I did all of it. It's sad in a way, when I think and re-think about it. And in the middle of thinking process, I read my friends status about how the social media could put a stamp on your face as: "Showing off people a.k.a Ostentatious". I usually being cynic to people who do "humble-brag" or do "covered-boast". I can't imagine how if another people thought me so. Because of these, I have a thought about not writing anymore in blog, related to any experience who could be wronged as "intended show-off". My belief taught me, when you could not decided it is right or no, just don't do that. So then, I choose to keep many experiences just for myself. I just could tell it to friends or people in a direct meet up, so they could judge easily how I sincerely share the story.

Well, the situation didn't stop here, anyway. Choosing for not writing just plugged my entire brain-process. It's not helping. I don't feel happy too for holding my thought into another form of contemplating: writing in diary, for example. Now I try to pull myself together, try to ask myself, what's my intention in doing all of these.

I believe there is a different between show & share. Share is the intention, show is the way. Showing could be the way for other goals too: boasting/flaunting/show-off. Yes, it's difficult to differentiate, because intention is related to willingness.
Does s/he has a good will or no? Hard to prove
Do people who see it realize and perceive as the one who show? Hard to know, it's inside every people own mind.

Here I am, sitting on the floor of my living room, writing my own explanation while the dusk comes. I'm trying  to not weigh myself too much by bothered into my "show-off-judged" fear. I just promised to myself for double checking by trying respect another people opinion of my posting/uploading/pin/twit. Innamal a'malu bin niat. Verily, each of deeds depend on its intention.

"Finally, I can see you crystal clear, dear trouble.."

World's Always Know & Never Forget

22:25:00

Just read late post from Diana. I absolutely agree in every word of it.

"I often find people who treat real life and internet as two different worlds, therefore show different personalities too. Why? Internet is also "real life", you know? At least for me. What I say & portray on my blog is exactly who I am in real life. So this is me. Raw. Internet helps us to reach those who can't be reach physically. And at the end of every reach, there are real life humans. Whatever you say or write on the internet, the world can see, the humans can feel. Have a heart. Even on the internet."
 -- :), Diana Rikasari

Internet IS A REAL LIFE. I don't understand how people act innocent in "face to face" mode, but they are mocking the same thing (or person) in internet. Saying rubbish then erase and act nothing happened. Pardon my simple mind, I just can't.
Have a heart, please.
You don't have to turn your face for knowing what people do. You feel it.

What Game Is It?

23:41:00

Tonight, while I opened my browser (I use Mozilla Firefox 4.0 Beta 10), there was a link with a question popped out: Want to know how your Web look like?

I thought the Web was my website, blog or another kind of that things. But it doesn't. I don't know exactly what it is, but the link brought me to http://webifyme.org. I took the quiz and got the results. Funny, it's like a kokology for web browser. Every thing pinned there symbolize something. This is my result:

#1
#2
#3
There are different explanation for every thing which put there. It's just for fun. The examples:

Pop Magazine

Why, look at you. Clearly, you bear the mark of The Fierce. You know what's hot, but rock your own style, and can dance on that fine line that separates dandy from dowdy.

Memory Card

Behold, The Memory — life is your field of study. You hunger for new thinking, knowledge and information. You know how get it, and how to hold on to it.

Rocket

Eat my dust! I'm bumping up my browsing into hyperdrive and leaving lesser browsers behind..

This is my favorite one:

Action Figure

A significant cultural heroic icon looms large in your inner nerd psyche.
Embrace it.
(We really don't want to get into the whole trademark thing, OK?)

It's 25 Months, Beibi!

08:04:00

May 10th, 2009 - June 10th, 2011
25 months.
I never thought time flies as a light. It's too fast. I can't believe to myself I could having a blog and write on it as long as this second. I'm so happy for my own "faith" to my blog. Dear beibi-blog, you've been 2 years and 1 month today!

=D

Reading my first post here made me smirk and laugh. My grammar was shattered and undefinable. I'd just realize that this blog had already run in an exact way as I wanted & described in my 1st post. I love it.

Related to faithfulness, there's a story behind it. When I was on junior high school, I learned karate. My parents, especially my mom didn't really like it. It run for a year. I was on green belt when I start being lazy and stop learning karate. I have another interesting things to do. My mom said that I won't be succeed if I always stop learning a thing in a middle of the process. It might be a little thing now (at that time), but it could implicate to other things in your life, including your spouse. Try to focus, be faithful, honest to yourself will make you as genuine person.

It's been 2 years anyway. Ah, I don't know what should I say then. Happy reading & writing!
=)
PS: I've added new tag, series. It will lead you into my series post. Enjoy!
It was taken in June 11th , 2009. Missed one day. Hehe. Took by  Denan Bagus

Ow, ow, ow! Dynamic View!

12:27:00

It is fun!

It moves smoothly!

I love this view!

Then go!

Favorit saya tentu masih fashion blogger nomer 1 Indonesia, Diana Rikasari. Coba deh klik link ini: www.dianarikasari.blogspot.com/view/mosaic. Mantab! Selamat blog-walking fellas!

About My Blog

11:07:00

Quoting my favorite writer, about what blog does mean to me:

"These are personal notes, nothing more.
There is no grand plan here; these notes are a stream of water flowing unchecked, with no thought given to their final shape or form. No doubt they are rife with redundancies which I would have found unacceptable under normal conditions."

BlogWalking, BlogReading: Ayo Jalan-Jalan ke Blog-Blog Ini! =)

22:47:00

Poet, my beloved darlaa would treat me and office fellas for her birthday. My boss(es) just available in 5pm. Sembari menunggu, ngobrol seru sama Mbak @gigihrc tentang buku (yang akhirnya merembet kemana-mana sih, =P). Dia menulis everythings related with books. This is her photos from her blog: http://bacabukubagus.wordpress.com

Untuk penggemar buku-buku karya pengarang asing, hm, this blog obviously will fit to you.

Time passed by, mbak Gigih pun akan berangkat nonton Robin Hood (Good movie, another kind of Hood version. I love this bloody, manly Robin Hood). Saya pun menuju kantor, mau numpang documenting data buat skripsi, sekalian nunggu orang kantor pada ngumpul untuk makan-makan. Senyampang (anyone use this word?

Siapa sih Aldo Sianturi?

*Music Sharing Session di Surabaya, bareng @aldosianturi, @afimotik, @ninilmotik, mas Bambang Morning After, mas MayoVOX*

My bosses ready to go after their meeting, dan kami sekantor pun makan-makan di Leko *spesialis iga penyet* (itu tagline-nya loh. hehe). Setumpuk doa buat Poet.... Cup-cup-mwah!

P.S: Love to share these fellas!
